I would just call and ask them. If they can't do it, I'll send you one when I get back to town, you'd just have to cover the cost.
Very small, but cozy place with good quality coffee.
Best coffee in Taos! Took us 4 others before we found this one. Ordered a double shot flat white in a small cup and got it. Barista knew what to do and it was perfect. If you love coffee strong this is the place
Great atmosphere small and cozy ,great staff , service and coffee.Go for the bullet !
Good drinks and the best buttered toast you’ll ever have. Seriously
This is my go to coffee shop in town. They are the only ones who have hemp milk. And there are always lots of people gathered out in the front talking, with their dogs. I love coming here you never know who you're going to meet and it's always a pleasant experience. Also everyone that works there is incredibly nice, they know me by my name and what I drink right when I walk in the door. I would highly recommend this coffee shop.
Very small. Served a cortado and a latte as the exact same drink, but the drinks were still good. Just not what we ordered. Don’t accept debit or credit.
Tiny, cash only. Delicious. Mexican mocha was very nice. Borgia mocha (orange peel) is wonderful
Home. Great chai!
skilled baristas making quality espresso drinks, good loose tea selection, gluten free pastry options. small space w counter seating, positive vibes, and small town cosmopolitan style.
Awesome!
Absolutely delicious espresso drinks served in a sweet atmosphere. I had a latte and a slice of one of their homemade breads and was thoroughly satisfied with both. The baristas were cheery and made me feel welcome during my short time in the shop.
Great locale for people watching or grabbing a beverage before or after your stroll around Taos Plaza. Small but accommodating, the extensive menu has you covered for all of your coffee needs, as well as other delicious hot & cold drinks prepared by a friendly staff. The collection of amusing bumper stickers & currency displayed from around the world helps pass the usual short wait. Enjoy!
Always a good cup of coffee!
After some not so good Lattes we decided to try this place and it serves the best Latte that we have tried for a long time.Well worth the visit.
Luke warm lattes and a snotty attitude. Stopped here for a late morning coffee with my wife. We both ordered lattes and received them pretty quick, a bit too quick.. They were both a tad hotter than luke warm but tasted good. While the guy was making the drinks we asked a couple questions about the area to which he rolled his eyes as though we were idiot tourists. I was told prior to our trip to Toas that World Cup was more hipster than any other spot in town. Great location, will not be a return customer.
Great coffee shop!
Busy little cafe with only one barista, but great service and atmosphere.
Best coffee we had in taos.
Great coffee and excellent wholesome carrot cake - just a pity that the ? owners - male and female- were so abrupt and rude. Not to everyone, they were pleasant and joking with locals, but they were gruff to us, and several other visitors!
About a million flies in here. Why so many flies?? Mediocre coffee.
Great staff, cool stuff, good conversation. Oh, and excellent coffee and hot chocolate.
This is my favorite place in the whole world (well, one of many...) but, it is unique and wonderful and like family
Coffee is good, would recommend the Americano or the mocha mexicana. The staff weren't friendly but from the vibe of the place(political stand/awareness + support of local businesses) they seem like good people, customer service just isn't their priority. Oh and no card, only cash. I wasn't carrying cash but went to the nearby ATM at the plaza to get some 'cause it was worth it.
Great vibe, tasty beverages, served on a pleasant, mindful backdrop. Plenty of regulars and some benches that let you sreen the community while sipping your beverage.
Best matcha tea I have ever had will be going back.
We're here a lot! Friendly, great coffee, nice intimate place.
Super cute cafe with great politics and delightful homemade nutella! The matcha latte was great!
Good coffee but the staff is rude to newcomers. Noticed they were very friendly with familiar faces. Typical New Mexican behavior.
Love the Mocha Picante here. And if you prefer a different chocolate flavor, they serve that too.
Best coffee since we moved to New Mexico. I wish there was one in Santa Fe!
This unassuming coffee shop just off the northeast corner of the main plaza, it is busy with locals, artists and musicians sitting outside or by its corner steps up to the small but cozy space. The decor and furnishings are a nod to liberal politics and a strong support for local vendors. The espresso drinks really shine, and they do the New Mexican sipping chocolates justice as any of the mochas are delicious and a sure bet! I can't think of a better place to stop in and grab a coffee to stroll the streets with!
Excellent coffees! Friendly service.
Note that this is an expresso drink cafe- no drip coffee, etc. my partner got me a spicy hot cacao-expresso type drink with chile in it that was delicious, 5 stars for that in itself, a must try when in Taos!
A once great local spot has fallen into years of poorly made coffee that always tastes horribly bitter. As a black, unsweetened coffee drinker I have tried to keep buying local by ordering mochas, bulletproof coffees, and sweetened coffee, but it's simply never good enough to even drink half of it. Myself and friends ha e taken to driving south to The Apothecary to avoid wasted money on undrinkable coffee. This was a notable locals spot forever. I am so sad that I keep trying it, hoping it would return to its once great drink offering.
Staff is mean and not helpful. So crowded. The hot chocolate wasn’t even good.
We tried SO much coffee on our way around Taos and this one blew us away far above the rest. So good!
This coffee shop is a classic. It's tiny, dog friendly, with great coffee and textbook barista service.By textbook barista service, I mean these people are not all butterflies and roses. They were acerbic, and didn't take well to us not knowing what we wanted immediately. Think about baristas from comedy movies, rolling their eyes and barking at you to get your order. It was pretty funny. The coffee was well worth the attitude. I enjoyed the mocha picante. It was just spicy enough to satisfy my palate, but may be too much for the milder tongue. If you're in Taos, stop on by. If you don't tolerate attitude well, know your order, have your wallet ready, and leave immediately after getting your drink.
I don't really leave reviews, but I'll make an exception for this place. I ordered a triple shot 12oz latte with hemp milk. I'm not sure if the shots pulled bitter or hemp milk is an ... acquired taste, but this latte tasted like Keurig espresso or a gas station latte. It wasn't cheap either.
Great coffee and vibe.. Just know they only take cash and checks. No cards.
Super wonderful people and wonderful shop, but my friend and I both got sick after drinking the chai tea and matcha made with oat milk.
Good cup of coffee and excellent service
Good coffee. Great staff.
Bad experience. There were homeless people all outside the shop. One mans dog almost attacked me in the store. Smelled bad. Coffee was worst. Not to mention they curse the president and our country. Enough said
A great breve and funky alternative coffee house. Fun.
5 stars for the coffee, 3 stars for the experience... World Cup must be the best (only?) true coffee shop on the Taos Plaza, at least based on my visits there plus scanning the other options. They really know their coffee. For example, their baristas will make a cortado without batting an eyelid. They source their own blend in Central America - a little bold for my personal taste, but still outstanding. And if you want a sweet espresso drink, do try the Mocha Borgia (as recommended by others here). As for the experience, they only serve coffee, plus toast with different spreads. Just a few bar-stool seats in this quaint, hole-in-the-wall location (where they have been for 35 years!). So this is not where you'd want to spend a few hours enjoying snacks. No wifi, either. Unfortunately the staff is mixed - very friendly on one visit, rude on another - hence the lost star. Still, this is now my go-to coffee place in Taos - and many locals clearly agree.
Best coffee in TaosLove their vibe and politics
Best local espressos, mochas and teas in town. Mocha picante!
This place has the worst espresso drinks ever. I think that they just make them to be mixed into the milkshakes that they can throw onto their dissenters:)
Great coffee. Excellent service
Nice little place to sit and relax. Can be crowded and busy.
